Call for nominations are open for the following positions:

• Unit Representative – Operations
• Unit Representative – Trades/Freight Office

The voting platform for elections will be changing this March. We will no longer be using YOUnified. Please look out for an e-mail in the coming days for a link to our new provider, Simply Voting. We will be conducting a test to ensure all members receive the link and are able to vote prior to the elections in March.

These are all 2 year positions unless otherwise stated.

Nominations are to be sent electronically as follows:

a) Nominator sends email to nominee and CCs the Returning Officer (elections@cupe7000.ca) stating what position they are nominating the individual for.
b) Nominee replies to nominator and CCs the Returning Officer stating they accept.
c) Returning Officer replies to both the nominator and nominee that it has been accepted.
